Volume-weighted average stumpage prices from actual sales reported by up to 60 cooperators in the East Texas market, by region (Northeast, Southeast, Statewide), with the last period and a year ago; NED means fewer than three sales, as printed. The report's own words: "This report is intended only as a guide to general price levels ... it should not be used to judge the fair market value of a specific timber sale, which may vary considerably due to many factors." Units: dollars per ton in every row; the second unit is dollars per MBF Doyle for sawtimber and dollars per cord for pulpwood and chip-n-saw, using the report's printed factors (pine 8 tons = 1 MBF Doyle, hardwood 9 tons = 1 MBF Doyle, pine chip-n-saw and pulpwood 2.7 tons = 1 cord, hardwood pulpwood 2.8 tons = 1 cord). No extra conversion is needed.
