Source: Mississippi Timber Price Report, 2nd Quarter 2026, Mississippi State University Extension Service, published July 2026 (PDF). Statewide average stumpage prices in dollars per ton, using TimberMart-South data, for April to June 2026, with the previous quarter beside them. The report's own words: "This report should only be used as a guide to help individuals monitor timber market trends. The average price should not be applied as fair market value for a specific timber sale because many variables influence actual prices each landowner will receive." The last column converts sawtimber rows to dollars per thousand board feet (MBF) Doyle using Pine sawtimber 8.0 tons per MBF Doyle and hardwood sawtimber 9.0 tons per MBF Doyle, the factors printed in the Arkansas and Texas reports (Arkansas conversion table); pulpwood and chip-n-saw are sold by weight and are not converted. Mississippi reports go back to 1986 on the MSU timber prices page.
