The report compiles prices paid to landowners in calendar 2024 from about 1,445 mandatory landowner reports of stumpage sales, so it is the broadest sample of any state here and the oldest period: Maine publishes once a year, about a year after the fact. Sawlogs and veneer in dollars per thousand board feet (MBF), with the 2024 volume-weighted average, minimum, maximum, number of reports and the 2023 average; the report does not print the log rule. The report's own words: "Values are offered as a guide to help individuals assess the fair market value of their standing trees. The average price should not be applied as exact values for a particular product or location. The best way for private landowners to determine current stumpage values and available wood markets is to consult with a Licensed Forester before harvesting." The PDF is a scan; a few species names had scanning errors in the extracted text and are corrected here (for example SUGARMAPLE to SUGAR MAPLE), all figures are as printed.
