Timber prices in Louisiana, Q1 2026: stumpage per MBF Doyle

Source: Quarterly Report of Forest Products, Volume 73 Report 1, January to March 2026, Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (PDF, report list); the only 2026 issue posted as of 17 October 2026. Stumpage prices by the state's five reporting areas with state averages for the current quarter, the previous quarter and a year ago; sawtimber in dollars per MBF Doyle, cordwood products in dollars per standard cord. An asterisk means insufficient data, as printed; the cypress, pole and cypress pulpwood rows, which are all asterisks this quarter, are left out. The report's own words: "This report is intended to serve only as a guide for timber stumpage prices and to monitor market trends. It should not be used to determine the fair market value of a specific timber sale." Note the pine sawtimber state average printed for this quarter ($62.48) is far below the previous quarter ($168.16); it is reproduced as printed, so check the PDF before relying on it.
