Timber prices in Arkansas, Q1 2026: pine and hardwood per ton

Source: The Arkansas Timber Price Report, University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, Cooperative Extension Service; the PDF header reads Q4 2025 but the table reports Q1 2026 (January to March 2026) as the current quarter (PDF). Statewide average stumpage prices in dollars per ton; survey data provided by Timber Mart-South. The report's own words: "These values may not reflect the stumpage values for a particular tract of timber. Timber prices may vary greatly depending on many factors including location in the state, species, products, access, distance to mills, and site conditions." Figures in parentheses are decreases, as printed. The last column converts sawtimber rows to dollars per MBF Doyle with the factors the report itself prints: pine sawtimber 8.0 tons per MBF Doyle (7.0 Scribner, 5.5 International), hardwood sawtimber 9.0 tons per MBF Doyle (8.0 Scribner, 6.5 International). Earlier quarters back to 2005 are on the UADA report page; no Q2 2026 report was posted as of 17 October 2026.
